Alex graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy).  Alex started  her career at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH), where she gained experience in intensive care, orthopaedics, neurological surgical wards, brain injury unit and emergency departments.  Alex spent the majority of her time at RNSH as a team member of the acute state-wide spinal cord injury (SCI) service.

In 2014 Alex worked for the University of Sydney as a research assistant looking into the prevention and risk assessment of pressure injuries in those living with SCI. She then worked as a senior physiotherapist in the paediatric spinal outreach service, providing comprehensive community based outreach services and supports for children and adolescents aged 0-18.

Since 2016 Alex has been part of the founding team that developed Sargood on Collaroy (a not for profit Short-Term Accommodation and multidisciplinary clincal services facility for people living within spinal cord injury). She is responsible for the operation management of the health and medical services and has led a large team of clinicians and support workers that provide a multitude of wellness services for people living with spinal cord injury.

Alex’s extensive knowledge and experience in spinal cord and traumatic injury and her stong interpersonal skills are well suited to the important role of case management. She works with a holistic approach and likes to educate clients enabling self advocacy and independent management of ones own health and well being.

For Moore Rehab Outcomes, Alex is able to provide approved icare Case Managment services for catastrophic claims, and can also assist with case management and return to work programs for CTP and insurer funded programs.

Alex is based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches but is happy to see clients throughout greater Sydney.
