Lisa graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2002 with an Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, later extending her education with a Diploma in Dementia Care in 2018, through the University of Tasmania. Lisa is also a graduate of the Clinical Leadership Program (CLP) through NSW Health, undertaken while leading the Occupational Therapy team at one the major teaching hospitals. The CLP focused upon the implementation of innovative quality improvement projects to enhance efficiency and the patient journey.  In addition, Lisa has co-authored a publication on clinical data mining, focused upon acute traumatic brain injury presentations.

Lisa has worked predominantly in acute care across orthopaedic and trauma presentations, cardiology, gastroenterology, and renal services. She has also worked in inpatient rehabilitation with patients with neurological conditions and amputations, in addition to working in both acute and community mental health.

Combining strong clinical reasoning skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice, Lisa is passionate about developing client centred goals and working collaboratively with clients, carers and community agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Lisa is based in the Hunter Region and is able to provide ADL and cognitive assessments and retraining, discharge planning, case management, home assessments and minor modifications, and equipment prescription. Lisa is an approved icare case manager, icare care needs assessor (panel) and an accredited FIM assessor.
