Sameena graduated from the University of Northumbria (UK) in 2016 with a first-class honour’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

When in the UK, Sameena acquired diverse experience through her work in various specialities including trauma and orthopaedics, vascular surgery and amputations, aged care, hand therapy and neurological rehabilitation. Throughout this period, she provided ADL and cognitive assessments and retraining, discharge planning, home assessments and minor modifications, and equipment prescription.

In 2022 Sameena migrated to Australia where she commenced employment in residential aged care completing pain management, equipment provision and falls prevention interventions.

Subsequently she went on to work in the NDIS sector, assessing needs and designing therapy plans for individuals with ASD, Neurological, Physical and Psychosocial conditions.

Currently Sameena works with Moore Rehab Outcomes completing ADL assessments, ADL retraining, discharge planning, case management , and FIM assessments for a range of conditions (including multi-trauma, soft tissue injury, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, PTSD) for icare, CTP, DVA, EML and insurance funded programs. Sameena is also able to provide independent opinion for NDIA and medicolegal matters.

Sameena has a strong passion for client centred care and truly enjoys helping individuals work towards their goals no matter how big or small!
