Carissa graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology in 2003 and is a current full member with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).

Carissa has over 16 years’ experience in vocational rehabilitation and case management, providing assessment and ongoing support for individuals with physical and / or psychological injuries.

She has extensive experience in the areas of vocational assessment and redeployment training, and has facilitated group based programs in the areas of career transition and chronic pain management. In recent years, Carissa has specialised in complex cases and PTSD. She is an approved Case Manager for the Lifetime Care Scheme with a particular focus on supporting clients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

In addition to her rehabilitation experience, Carissa has worked as a Business Manager within the workplace rehabilitation sector, which has involved staff mentoring and management as well as development of customer relationships.

Carissa is passionate about providing quality services to clients through adopting a collaborative and holistic approach. Through the engagement of all stakeholders and treating parties she aims to develop structured and achievable goals that clients are motivated to pursue.

For Moore Rehab Outcomes, Carissa is able to provide Initial / Work Readiness Assessment, Vocational Assessment, Case Management and Job Seeking / Redeployment programs. Carissa is based in the Illawarra.
