At Moore Rehab Outcomes, the health and well-being of our patients, staff and families is formost on our minds at this challenging time during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to “flattening the curve” and making sure our patients remain safe and well, and still manage to receive services and treatment.
Telehealth enables us to provide intervention for clients Australia wide.
We are offering video technology to provide assessments of clients. Telephone calls (without video review) are not considered appropriate as we need to observe the client in their home environment completing functional tasks.
MRO provides the following services via telehealth
MRO ACTIVATE: a 5 module PowerPoint education program with a workbook, based on Moseley’s Explain Pain principles, to encourage return to activity!
MRO STANDARD REHABILITATION SERVICES: Care Needs Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Case Management, ADL or equipment advice, cognitive retraining, GP case conferencing and review of RTW options.
MRO SOCIAL WORK: assistance with financial service applications, accommodation supports and community services.
MEDICOLEGAL ASSESSMENTS: providing both plaintiff and defendant reports across a wide range of cases or claims.
What does the client need to receive telehealth?
Reliable internet / WIFI
An email address (so we can send them instructions)
A smart phone, computer or tablet
Ideally a support person who can help hold the device, so the MRO Clinician can view the home environment / clients posture and clients function to best understand their rehabilitation needs
A quiet room with minimal distractions
